After being in the lash industry for over a decade, I can say one thing for sure: Lashing is a career filled with freedom, creativity, and endless opportunities.

What are some of the benefits of becoming a lash artist?

  • Ability to increase your income exponentially

  • Make your own schedule and choose when you work

  • Spend your workday getting paid to be creative

  • Build relationships with clients as you help them feel beautiful and confident

We currently offer lash stylist training for aspiring lash artists who want to start a new career or offer a new service! After this comprehensive training, you’ll have a solid foundation of the world of lash extensions. We also offer continuing support via mentorship and a private student Facebook group.

We have individual and group training options to meet the needs of a variety of students. Regardless of your choice, you’ll learn everything you need to know to start lashing during your 2-day in-person class. You will receive a Certificate of Completion upon successful graduation from the course.

Please note that you must be a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, or lash specialist in the state of Texas to participate in Lash Stylist Training.

We will begin each class day at 8:00am with Lash Lesson + Lecture, where you’ll learn and review Lashing 101! We’ll cover everything from the different types of lashes to appointment breakdown, lash mapping, supply recommendations, business tips, client retention, and more.

On Day 1, after our Lesson, you’ll watch a Live Demonstration of an actual lash appointment, where you’ll be able to take notes, videos, photos, and ask questions.

After we take lunch, we will end Day 1 by introducing you to Lash Application on Mannequins. Becoming comfortable applying lashes on a mannequin will prepare you for Day 2 when you will be lashing a live model.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What is the difference between being licensed and being certified? Do I need both?

We require that you be a licensed esthetician, cosmetologist, or lash extension specialist in the state of Texas to participate in our training classes. This means you have completed the appropriate state licensing program and tests and have an active Texas license.

Upon successful completion of one of our training courses, you will receive a Lash Extension Course Completion Certificate, which certifies that you have taken our specific class to learn proper lash extension application technique.

If you’re looking to make a career as a lash artist, I highly suggest you obtain at least one lash certificate after receiving your license. This ensures that you are proficient in the unique art of eyelash extension application.

Do I need to bring a model?

If you have a model who would like to receive lash extensions, please take a photo or video of their natural lashes and send them to me so I can evaluate whether or not the individual is a good candidate for extension training.

If you do not know someone who is a good candidate to be a model, we recommend that you work on a mannequin.
